Lauren has had the pleasure of training several outstanding riders during her career. Below are some of her current students.
Bitsy Gascoigne
![]()
Bitsy has been riding since she was 3 with the benefit of many great trainers along the way since her parents owned and operated Fox Run Farms. She began showing lead-line and worked her way through the hunter and jumper divisions with numerous championships along the way. She began to work with Lauren when she switched to dressage about 10 years ago. She broke and started her first dressage partner Gascony Twist and is now working her new horse Aibrean by Fair Play. Bitsy and Lauren drove to New Jersey in May 2005 to Heather Masons' Flying Change Farm to get her. Bitsy and Aibrean have won local as well as regional awards along with awards from the AWS. Bitsy is also a Dover Medal recipient.
Christine Thompson
Congratulations to Christine Thompson on her recent purchase of "Ricardo." He is a lovely Oldenburg gelding that is currently showing Prix St Georges and Intermediare I.

Gayle Visani

Gayle has been riding and training, off and on, for more than a dozen years. Gayle purchased Lyra, and Oldenburg mare by Leonidas, in 2003 as a 3 year-old. Lyra has had a successful and busy career for such a young girl! She started off by winning her class at her very first show, to participating in the first ever Young Horse Symposium hosted by Hilltop Farm, MD. That experience helped Lyra clinch the 2005 ABIC/USDF Region 2 Championship at First Level and Reserve at Training Level!
Lyra is by Leonidas and is an award premium foal with the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society.

Jenny Harding

Jenny and her 2002 gelding, Rotspon's Crusador. Jenny purchased Rudy in 2007 and the pair are proving to be an exciting pair in the dressage ring. Rudy has incredible potential and with Jenny's talent and quiet manner, they are quite the team.
Jenny and her Dutch gelding, "Inspecteur", affectionately known as Impy, have been working with Lauren since the spring of 2006. Having only competed at third level, Jenny came to Lauren with the goal of trying her hand at the FEI Jr tests. The pair got to work and had a successful 2006 season earning many scores in the 60's!
Impy is an incredible teacher and a very good friend to Jenny. Pictures of Impy coming soon!

Maggie Ball
Maggie, Lauren's mom, spent many years riding other people's horses. Always recognized for her dedication to and excellent care of the horse, many people were happy to have her ride their horses. Her most notable partner was "Richter 5" a Polish Arabian gelding. Over 9 years Maggie guided this wonderful, but often challenging horse, from Training to Fourth Level. In 2002, Lauren and Maggie travled to Holland. Although they were really not expecting to find "The Horse", they were quietly greeted by "Meridian". This 1994 gelding is by Voltaire and Maggie has had much success with him at First and Second Levels. Affectionatley known as "Milo", he is a true gem and is gearing up for the 2006 season at Third Level. Maggie and Milo have won local and regional awards and are also Dover Adult Medal recipients.
